Our online tools let you put the value of Blue to work for you.

MyBlue Personal Health Record

Want to see a snapshot of your health care expenses? MyBlue Personal Health Record is the answer. MyBlue Personal Health Record provides a secure and central location to access, update and store your personal health care information.

MyBlue Personal Health Record helps you keep your health care records up-to-date and organized. It can also help you track your personal health data, create an appointment calendar for health care visits, and manage your medications. It is easy to use and we update your information automatically with the claims information submitted by you, your health care providers and pharmacists. You can view information collected on and after October 2008.

You will need to register on Blue Health Connection to access MyBlue Personal Health Record. Once registered, a Personal Identification Number or PIN will be mailed to you within five to ten days. You will need to use this PIN the first time you access your MyBlue Personal Health Record. This helps maintain the security of the health information for you and your family. There is also a "How to Guide" you can use to help guide you while using MyBlue Personal Health Record.

One of the great parts of MyBlue Personal Health Record is that you can print this information to share with your physicians. You may also want to print a copy to take with you when you travel just in case you need emergency medical care.

Secure Message Center

New for 2010 is the Secure Message Center. This Center provides a convenient place to access information and messages from Blue Health Connection, and request information about health and wellness issues.

When you talk to a Blue Health Connection nurse, the Secure Message Center allows the nurse to send you confidential follow-up messages with more information about your health concerns. The messages may contain links to videos, audio files, articles or other helpful resources.

Again, you will need to register on Blue Health Connection to access the Secure Message Center and a Personal Identification Number or PIN will be mailed to you within five to ten days.

Live Nurse Chat

Did you ever wish you could chat online with a nurse about your concerns and get a response right away? Then the new Live Nurse Chat is just what you need. Live Nurse Chat offers a fast and convenient way to connect with a nurse to discuss your non-urgent medical concerns and issues.

Once you have registered and signed on to Blue Health Connection, you'll see a link to the Live Nurse Chat feature under Talk To A Nurse. You will have to answer three quick questions, and then you'll be connected to a Blue Health Connection nurse ready to chat with you.

If you haven't done so already, check on the online tools in Blue Health Connection. These new tools as well as the other online tools available under Blue Health Connection can open the door to a whole new way to view your health.
