2021 Benefits & Rates: BCBS FEP Vision
FEP BlueVision is now Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP VisionSM, and it offers plenty of healthy vision benefits to federal employees and retirees in the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Program (FEDVIP).

BCBS FEP Vision is also available to retired uniformed service members, their eligible family members and eligible dependents of active duty service members.
Open Season for federal health insurance runs Monday, November 9 through midnight Eastern time Monday, December 14, 2020. Now is a great time to learn about BCBS FEP Vision.
Here’s what’s new for 2021:
Frame frequency
- We are increasing the frame frequency for Standard Option members to one pair every 12 months. Previously, it was one pair every 24 months.
- Standard Option members will have a frame allowance of $140. Previously, it was $130.
- High Option members will have a $200 frame allowance for all providers. Previously, the frame allowance was $150 at all providers and an additional $50 allowance at Visionworks.
- We are adding a $10 lens copay for Standard Option members.
