2023 Open Season
Through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program (FEP), we have the privilege of providing medical, dental and vision coverage to federal employees, U.S. Postal Service employees, retirees, certain segments of the military and their families.
Open Season runs November 13 through December 11, 2023, and we want to help you make the most informed decision about your health care needs for the year ahead.
Whether you’ve been a member of FEP for years, or are considering us for the very first time, we believe that our coverage and benefits are best-in-class. FEP’s comprehensive coverage includes access to one of the broadest networks of providers. That’s in addition to free preventive care, telehealth services and overseas coverage.
With Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP Vision, we also offer quality dental and vision benefits at affordable rates.
You can see all of the changes we’re making for 2024 here. That includes expanded benefits for fertility and mental health as well as updates to our prescription drug coverage specifically for federal retirees that can help save on medications.
Take a moment to see what’s new for our dental plan and vision plan, too.
Keep in mind that if you’re happy with your current coverage, you don’t have to do anything. It will automatically carry over next year.
